Inspired by... is our annual competition for adults to create an art work inspired by something at the gallery. You can see the art works of 10 winners next to their inspiration throughout the gallery.

There is a real range of art work this year, from a costume piece inspired by a painting by Keith Piper, a delicate and life affirming piece made from tiny beads inspired by Mark Francis's painting 'Release' and a small ceramic mouse that can be found sleeping in our Gallery of Craft and Design.
