See the winners of our annual competition for adults.
If you're visiting the gallery over the next few weeks, make sure you look out for the winning artworks from our annual Inspired by... competition. All the works have been created by non-professional adult artists and have been made in response to an artwork from our collections.
This year's imaginative pieces have been made by gallery visitors from Manchester, Bolton and as far afield as Melbourne, Australia! They include a giant teacup and saucer made from sweets and paper inspired by some of the china in our Gallery of Craft and Design, a stunning piece of stitched textiles inspired by the decorative William de Morgan tiles in our Pre-Rapahaelite Gallery and a contemporary take on life in Cornwall inspired by Christopher Wood's painting of Mousehole.
