Visual Dialogues

The Creative Consultants (our team of young people) have chosen two contemporary photographs from Tate Britain to hang with the artworks in our Victorian galleries, creating a visual dialogue between old and new.

'Soliloquy 1' by Sam Taylor Wood is an ambiguous contemporary take on Victorian suicide while Hannah Starkey's photograph 'The Butterfly Catchers' shows two teenage girls searching for something in a bleak post-industrial landscape.
