Raqib Shaw was born in Calcutta, India in 1974 and grew up in in Kashmir. He moved to England in 1998 to study at the Central St Martins School of Art, from where he graduated in 2002 with an MA in Fine Art.
Since graduating his work has been exhibited in galleries around the world.
Today Raqib lives and works in London.
