See a selection of flip-book inspired animations by Manchester-based artist Andrew Bracey in this new exhibition. Hover from Manchester Art Gallery on Vimeo.

Bracey works on the edge of painting, as it slips into installation, animation, sculpture and video. Look closely and wait patiently in this playful exhibition of his work, and you'll catch little uplifting glimpses of animated creatures such as spinner dolphins and Humboldt penguins.

Bracey has previously exhibited across the UK and internationally. He has participated in numerous group shows at galleries across Manchester, including Manchester Art Gallery’s 2003 exhibition Beyond the Endgame. Bracey will also be familiar to regular Manchester Art Gallery visitors for being a model in the 2008 exhibition of photo-collage sculptures by Korean artist Gwon Osang.
