This exhibition was refreshed in February with a new set of prints. Exhibits are taken from the artist's three main groups of etchings: The Fantasies, The Disasters of War and The Follies, all of which were withdrawn or withheld from publication during his lifetime because of their controversial, disturbing or strange qualities.
You can also see the Chapman Brothers' gruesome sculpture Disasters of War (1993) alongside the Goya etchings that inspired it. See Visual Dialogues: Disasters of War for more details.
Purchase the fascinating catalogue of the Goya etchings held at Manchester Art Gallery £4.99 from our online store.
