Inspired by our Lauren Child exhibition, this two day course explores the world of book illustration. Spend two days experimenting with drawing, collage, colour and line in our relaxed course for adults of all abilities led by artist Julie Mosley.
What is the course?
This course will introduce you to a variety of ideas and techniques used in books. You'll have the chance to work with different textures and mediums to create illustrations, and will also be given plenty of ideas for further applications of collage and mixed media.
There are only 15 places on the course so the atmosphere will be relaxed and friendly.
Each day there will be 2 x 2 hour sessions 11am-1pm and 2-4pm
You need to attend all sessions.
Who is teaching the course?
Julie Mosley is an artist who regularly leads workshops and creative projects in museums, galleries and with community groups. She studied Surface Pattern Design at Staffordshire University and has exhibited widely across the North West. She is currently working on a new body of work.
