Sugar secrets and fair trade chocolate

Sunday 14 October 2007
1.00pm - 3.00pm

Take part in our sweet tooth trail around the gallery. Find the objects with fascinating histories, create your own giant sweets and finish off with a slurp of chocolate from our fountain! Drop in, no need to book

Follow our trail of objects with links to the transatlantic slave trade. Pick up a map from the gallery atrium.

This event is part of Revealing Histories: Remembering Slavery

We are commemorating the bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act by revealing hidden histories about our collections. Look out for more events and changes to displays in the Manchester Gallery (ground floor) created by our local community.
