Design and make a glamorous showgirl headdress inspired by Kylie's outfits on this two-day course, led by artist Anna Creighton.

What is the course?
Be inspired by our Kylie exhibition and turn yourself into a designer. You are invited to design and make a glamourous showgirl headdress using flamboyant materials where there are no limitations to what you can create! The workshops will begin with a tour of the exhibition where we will take ideas about colour, texture and design from the works on show. In the studios we will plan the headdresses on paper, using elements of collage to influence the actual pieces.

Each day there will be 2 x 2 hour sessions 11am-1pm and 2-4pm
You need to attend all sessions.

Who is teaching the course?
Anna Creighton works regularly as a freelance artist at MAG and graduated in Embroidery. She sells and exhibits her own artwork as well as working in a range of community and health settings delivering art projects.
