Join Carol Mavor for a visually rich reading, and an in-conversation with Director Maria Balshaw, to celebrate her new book Black and Blue: The Bruising Passion of Camera Lucida, La Jetée, Sans Soleil and Hiroshima mon amour.

Carol Mavor is Professor of Art and Visual Studies at the University of Manchester.

Maria Balshaw is the Director Manchester Art Gallery and the Whitworth Art Gallery.

Copies of Black and Blue will be available to buy during the evening.
