Dr Maria Balshaw, Director of Manchester City Galleries and the Whitworth Art Gallery, invites you to a special fundraising party at Platt Hall, Gallery of Costume.

The evening will feature extraordinary fashion pieces by British Nigerian designer Duro Olowu as part of We Face Forward: Art from West Africa Today, a programme of art and music taking place at venues across Manchester to celebrate London 2012 Festival.

The evening will include a fashion presentation from Harvey Nichols Manchester, drinks, fusion food and live music.
