Making Conversation: Session One

Making Conversation
Making Conversation
Tuesday 29 March 2011
1.00pm - 4.00pm
FREE

The first in a series of three workshops for adults linked to our Anish Kapoor exhibition.

Making our own minds up about art is not easy. An artist might say one thing, a curator another and we might think something completely different. At Manchester Art Gallery we think all these view are important. By taking an exploratory approach to understanding and making art we hope you'll be able to find your own ways of deciding what you think about the art on display at the Gallery.

In this workshop you'll get to talk about the work on display with other people, use hand's-on creative techniques to develop your ideas and find out about other ways you can get more engaged with art in the Gallery and beyond.

This workshop includes description of the art works to support visually impaired people and blind people.

All adults welcome.
