With Dr Peter Webb, author of Sphinx: The Life and Art of Leonor Fini

In his lecture Sphinx: Leonor Fini and Surrealism , Dr Peter Webb will investigate artist Leonor Fini’s role as a female artist in the predominantly male surrealist group, and the contribution she made with her self-images as empowered sphinxes and ancient deities. Dr Webb knew the artist Leonor Fini well and interviewed her extensively in the years before her death.
