Title: Thursday lates

Type: Late opening

Time: 5 - 9pm

The gallery stays open until 9pm every Thursday. Have a drink with friends to get the weekend rolling, take in one of our three new exhibitions or spend a bit longer with just one piece of art or design.

Compare Geoffrey Baxter's groovy free-blown blue bowl with his tangerine, meadow green and ruby mould-blown vases. Both produced by Whitefriars Glass Ltd. Find them in the House Proud exhibition. Figure out how Jin Eui Kim creates a play between optical illusion and reality on his bowls in the Eastern Exchanges exhibition. And see the artist explain all in a short film in the exhibition space. Marvel at how Emily Allchurch plays with dynamic design through photography to re-imagine Utagawa Hiroshige's 19th century prints in all their vivid glory.
