Description

White linen cap in the chinoiserie style; with a stitched ground of small hexagons in cream silk back stitch. Embroidered with the main design in black, red, pink and yellow silk, mainly in chain stitch in a bold stylised flower and leaf design. Crown in 4 sections; turned up, peaked brim, lined yellow silk and bound with yellow silk ribbon; traces of a yellow silk lining.
