Triangular stomacher ending in 7 tabs, the central one widest; front of cream silk, embroidered with a stylised floral design with a central red and pink carnation and other flowers with gold and green leaves and gold thread vermicular stitching to the ground; yellow silk edging and tabs to pin to gown; mock decorative lacing over front forming a trompe l'oieu additional stomacher effect; backed in cream linen, block printed with madder in a stylised floral sprays.
