Description

Hexagonal fountain rising from two granite steps. It has two tiers, the lower of which is made from red granite and the upper from sandstone. There are tracery panels that hold the arms of the City of Manchester and the Duchy of Lancaster. Above the upper basin is a red granite stem and spreading cap, atop which is a bronze dolphin.
