Stars and Stripes fancy dress. Pale blue silk and striped scarlet and white silk satin. Two piece.

Bodice lined with figured white cotton. Front fastening with buttons, trimmed with lace. Low V neck. Neck filled with lace frills and net. Elbow length sleeves puffed at shoulder and elbow, trimmed with lace and satin. Bow at left shoulder with small flag (stars and stripes). Two flags centre front. Metal stars on lower sleeve. Separate skirt lined with blue cotton, fastening centre back. Metal stars at sides. Lace and muslin frill at hem.
