Description

White silk with blue satin stripes. Trimmed with bright blue satin. Dress with two bodices (day and evening)
Day bodice : Lined with white linen. Front fastening under buttons to low square neck. Elbow length sleeves with falling frill cuff. Detachable undersleeves. Neck trimmed with blue silk fringe, edged with white net and black velvet drawstring. Separate detachable vest fastening down centre front.
Evening bodice : Lined with twilled cotton. Front fastening to low round neck. Short sleeves puffed over lining. Trimmed with lace and blue satin. Blue velvet ribbon drawstring at neck. Separate collar trimmed with ruched satin.
Skirt : Lined with stiffened muslin. Fastening back left. Frill at hem edged with satin. Separate short overskirt trimmed with buttons. Fastening centre front, pleated at sides. Frill at hem.
Belt : Fastening centre front, flared basque, lined with stiffened muslin. Edged with satin and silk fringe.
