This label was created during the 'Sugar secrets and fair trade chocolate' family event that took place at Manchester Art Gallery on Sunday 14 October 2007, 1-3pm.
During the event families responded to questions from the Revealing Histories: Remembering Slavery family trail and wrote or drew their replies on sweet shaped labels that were then suspended on mobiles in the gallery atrium.
The event was held in association with the MCC Fair Trade Team who supplied jute bags and fair trade chocolate as prizes.
