Introduction

Manchester Art Gallery is a venue owned by Manchester City Council. Each year we must raise nearly half of our total operating budget from government grants, retail and café sales, venue hire, individual donations, corporate membership, charitable trusts and foundations and sponsorship.

We depend on our supporters who help us deliver a high quality, varied and enjoyable exhibitions and education programme, and many other special projects.
