Description

Yellow organdie worked throughout with overlapping horizontal tucks becoming broader towards hem.

Straight top edge level with underarms, narrow shoulder straps concelaed under square collar with wide square neckline. Fastening with hook and eye under left arm, zip below to hip. Skirt fitting hips. Narrowing from hip to knee, widening below. Cut with train.

Featured in Cotton Board Fashion Show "Cotton in Fashion 1951 at the Dorcester Hotel, London, during London Fashion Fortnight in May.
