Description

Suit - without trousers - in dark blue twilled wool
Coat : single-breasted; fronts each in one section extending to side, with dart from underarm to waist, rounded at bottom corners, fastening to turn-down collar and short revers with four composition-covered buttons and buttonholes, with additional buttonhole at top of left rever; slit pocket, black twilled cotton, slanting down to centre, at left level with armhole, similar pocket inside right front; small pocket with flap at right above waist, larger pocket with flap at waist each side; tapering back in two sections; long sleeves in two sections, open at wrist with two buttons and buttonholes; lined black cotton satin except at centre front, quilted under arms; sleeves lined blue and white striped cotton satin; loop for hanging inside neck. Waistcoat : fronts, twilled wool, pointed each side of centre front and fastening to V-neck with six buttons and buttonholes; slit pocket, black twilled cotton, each side at waist, sloping down to centre, similar smaller pocket below; back black cotton satin except twilled woollen edging at neck; cotton satin straps at waist fastening with metal buckle stamped "PARIS SOLIDE"; lined blue and white striped cotton satin.
