Description

Fancy outfit representing Turkey or the Middle East in a printed furnishing fabric showing a busy bold pattern of full blown pink flowers and green leaves with gold lurex highlights. Pink velvet cuffs, bands on sleeves and yoked collar sewn with small brass emblems. Worn by Mrs Webb for a Liberal Bazaar when wife of the Mayor of Stockport in 1898.
