Description

Cream silk figured with cornflowers and brocaded with other flowers, mainly in shades of pink, green, blue and mauve.

Bodice is lined with white linen. Sleeves and skirt lined with white silk. Elbow length sleeves. Traces of original cream silk ribbon facing at top of CF skirt. Silk probably dates 1744-5, earlier than the dress.
