Description

Model of a classroom in a "dame school" or a girls' charity school, comprising twelve small wooden doll pupils, dressed in blue cotton uniform dresses, with white aprons, fichus and caps; eight seated on wooden forms, some with books in their laps, or with various sewing tools. The teacher is seated at a table centrally.
