Dark green calf. Front and back each in truncated circle with seven vertical impressed ridges down centre. Loop handle each side slotted through tab and attached to bag with two metal bars. Gusset round lower edge, hinged with metal fitting with catch at top edge. Lined with green plain weave rayon. Pleated patch pocket on one side containing small dark green pencil. Central purse section with metal fitting and clasp connected with bag fitting, divded into two compartments, one lined green, the other white.
