Description

Shoes with uppers of pale blue silk satin over cream leather, embroidered in looped metal thread and spangles in a scrolling thistle and leaf design. Square toes with slightly concave ends. Low heel, satin covered and embroidered. Sole and heel shaped in single length of leather with cut down centre.
Said to have belonged to the Corneley family, Reading.
