Unisex jacket of the "Rap 'n' Rock" street fashion. Made from blue denim and embellished with badges. Casual, fastening CF with six brass buttons. Applique brown leather cuffs and shirt-type collar; also applique brown fur (mock-astrakhan) to back yoke and side front yoke. Two breast patch-pockets and two side pockets with vertical openings. Seams overstitched in faded orange.
Whole jacket embellished with cords, metal studs and rows of safety-pins. Also woven and plasticated badges and ephemera such as toy cars, buttopns, strips of transfers, a casette-tape and a whistle. Most of the back is covered by a ehite cotton panel (attched by safety pins) with a black pen sketch of a womans head (signed "Rob").
Decorated by the donor for his girlfriend, but never given or worn. Intended to be worn with black leggings or slacks. Donor had one very similar. A distinctly young and predominantly black, post-punk "Rap 'n' Rock" Street Fashion. Slogans can be changed week by week.
