Unisex jacket of the "Rap 'n' Rock" street fashion. Made from blue denim and embellished with badges. Casual, fastening CF with six brass buttons. Applique brown leather cuffs and shirt-type collar; also applique brown fur (mock-astrakhan) to back yoke and side front yoke. Two breast patch-pockets and two side pockets with vertical openings. Seams overstitched in faded orange.
Whole jacket embellished with cords, metal studs and rows of safety-pins. Also woven and plasticated badges and ephemera such as toy cars, buttopns, strips of transfers, a casette-tape and a whistle. Most of the back is covered by a ehite cotton panel (attched by safety pins) with a black pen sketch of a womans head (signed "Rob").
Unlined.
Decorated by the donor for his girlfriend, but never given or worn. Intended to be worn with black leggings or slacks. Donor had one very similar. A distinctly young and predominantly black, post-punk "Rap 'n' Rock" Street Fashion. Slogans can be changed week by week.
