Description

Puce chintz dress, glazed and block-printed with flowers and leaves in red, green, yellow, white and pale puce. The cotton has been entirely block-printed without any rollering.

Bodice lined with linen. Loop at waist on back for sash. Short sleeves with narrow shoulder sections. Each top side of skirt is a bound strip extending as a sash to tie centre back. Slit in left, front seam.
