White cotton; open centre front, fastening with five pearl buttons (one missing) and five buttonholes; rounded neck edged with narrow band threaded with pale blue corded silk ribbon to tie at front, and lace border; rounded front yoke of two insertions of lace with feather stitching inbetween; arm-holes edged with feather stitching and lace border; front bodice in two sections to waist; legs with inner seam in lower half, open upper half, gathered into waistband at back and at front base into narrow feather stiched band edged with flounce of cotton with lace border.
