White linen, embroidered, over white kid; bound with green silk ribbon; leather soles; pointed toes, fronts extending over instep as tongue; ribbon-covered seam each side of instep; hole for lacing in each top front corner of heel section, low heel covered in red leather; shoes embroidered all over in wavy lines in green silk worked in back stitch; strip outlined in red silk, worked in chain stitch, up fronts and down back of heel and along top edge of front, worked with flowers in red and green silk in satin stitch.
