Description

White paper, printed with psychedelic swirls in lime green. A-line sleeveless mini dress with centre front and centre back seams and sweetheart neckline; neckline and armholes bound in white tape, unfinished hem.
Paper label inside back "Marcus Boutique by Mornessa / made of DURA-WEVE / reinforced paper. Regd. Trademark / of Scott Paper Company
Dress was sold through a mail order business called "Sidelines", run by a Mr & Mrs Everett, 10 Libotus Road, Cheltenham from November 1968-February 1970.
The wholesale price was probably about £2 per 6 dozen (knickers were £1-0-6 but they were only sold for a short while until the local police declared them a fire risk).
