Black fur felt; crown fitting to head and low at back, lined with black silk band with white ribbon drawstring; strip of felt, lined with whtie plush, sewn round crown from front edge leaving wider space towards back with ends turned back at left back to reveal white underside; white ostrich feather sewn over join and curled round crown, left back.
