Description

Black grosgrain silk with low, almost V-necked bodice, elbow-length sleeves, and full skirt. Bodice cut full and gathered loosely into seam at centre front. Skirt stiffened, with deep gathered pleat in centre and two smaller pleats each side of front. Fastens centre back with zip and press studs. Attached underdress of stiff black net with boned bodice, shaped, foam-lined cups and 4-layered skirt. All seams are machine sewn and finished, some handsewn facings.
