Open robe of brown silk satin, woven with a warp-printed (chiné) motif in green, cream and red; waistline well above natural level; linen-lined bodice is unstructured, being formed from 2 pleated crossover sections, secured to the underbodice below the arms; back bodice fitted to the figure; elbow-length sleeves in one section with sewn-on cuff. Skirt in three widths.
