Gown of figured ivory silk satin, woven with an alternating vertical stripe design of vermicular wavy lines and a leaf pattern.
The boned bodice is cut in 9 sections, with diagonal pleats forming a v-shape across the front, and tapers to a pointed waist. It is trimmed at the front with interlacing strips of white satin and the neckline is wide and low. The bodice back panels feature holes for lacing and the long sleeves are full at the top. The full skirt is cut in 6 widths.
