Blue ground cotton chintz day dress, discharge printed on the cross grain of the fabric, with fine diagonal vine trails in red and yellow on white.
Bodice has a deep falling collar with frilled edges and a separate whitework lawn collar above. The sleeves are extremely long, caught into puffs at the shoulders with piped bands. The skirt is cut on the cross with the printing running diagonally, and features a double frill at the hem with self fabric belt at the waist.
