3 piece SB lounge suit in claret coloured wool jersey. Jacket, cut very long with fairly narrow collar and revers above a single button-fastening cf; flapped side pockets; breast pocket; double buttons at cuffs; cb seam; pair of side back vents; darts either side cf. Fully lined shot acetate; right inner pocket. Waistcoat, cut long with 8 buttons cf, pairs of pockets either side and cream nylon lining. Trousers, slightly flared with deep turn-ups, straight cut fronts without pleats, horizontal pockets at waistband, cf zip fly with flap fastening above. See similar suit in Hepworths advert, Sunday Times magazine, 7.4.1968. Worn by Mr Martin Starr (donor's brother, died December 1971 in his 20s).
