Our Family Art Club is on the first Saturday of each month, 1 - 3pm. For 6-11 year olds and their families.

Next session: Everyone we know

Saturday 5th July 2008

Meet in the Modern and Contemporary Gallery, to get ideas for making art about your friends and family.  We'll especially be looking at a painting that David Hockney made about his friend Peter Crutch.  Then we'll be turning those ideas into collaged story pictures.

We'll also be inspired by Lauren Child's illustrations of Clarice Bean's family  in the Greendrops and Moonsquirters exhibition, so have a look at that before you join us for art club, or leave yourself time to see it before you go.

The sessions last two hours, but please feel free to join in late or leave when you need to.  We'll be encouraging everyone to get involved, have fun and find out something new.

Upcoming sessions:

Saturday 2 August 2008

Saturday 6 September 2008

Saturday 4 October 2008
