Getting Under the Skin

Moving from historical to contemporary artworks, students discover how artists have represented people, identity, space and the environment. Mark-making is explored using the formal elements of line, shape, form, composition and texture to unpeel the artist's layers. Paintings inspire print making techniques in our studios so students create personal responses that can be extended back at school.
