Critical and Contextual

Students engage critically with our collections and exhibitions, using an enquiry based learning approach that encourages both artistic and curatorial interpretation of artworks. They do this with the aid of our unique resource, the object dialogue box, which contains a collection of bizarre, hybrid objects. Working individually and collaboratively, students use these to make associations, discover meanings, create dialogues and form their own interpretations of works in the gallery's collection. Outcomes can directly link into coursework requirements.
