“I like the composition and balance of the painting.
 The scene looks like a normal domestic situation,
 but the underlying theme is disturbing.

I used the metal shapes to express conflict.
I used dark tones to represent the sadness
in the original painting by Guerrieri.

I enjoy the diversity of all art forms on show,
which inspired me to create”
