Audio downloads
If you want to learn more about Angels of Anarchy, why not listen to one of our exhibition audio downloads? These include some fascinating personal insights into key works by Antony Penrose (Director of The Lee Miller Archive & The Penrose Collection). You can also listen to a panel discussion between Antony Penrose, Patricia Allmer (Curator of Angels of Anarchy: Women Artists and Surrealism) and Fiona Corridan (Exhibition co-ordinator and Curator: Exhibitions at Manchester Art Gallery), exploring ideas and themes in the exhibition.
There also are six poems written in response to the exhibition by Suzzanne Batty, commissioned by Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Literature Festival.
You can play these tracks or download them to your MP3 player to take with you when you visit. Alternatively, you'll be able to hire an audio guide featuring all tracks for just £1 at the ticket desk.
