Poet and short story writer Suzanne Batty has been jointly commissioned by Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Literature Festival to respond to the exhibition. At this unique event Suzanne will read from her new work inspired  by Angels of Anarchy. Suzanne may be joined by participants from our surreal writing workshop.

Suzanne teaches creative writing at Sheffield Hallam University, is the co-editor of Rain Dog poetry magazine, and author of the poetry collection The Barking Thing (Bloodaxe).
