1. To continue to develop our public programmes for lesbian and gay people.
2. To ensure that monitoring, evaluation and review of this plan takes place on a regular basis.
Aim 1 - To continue to develop our public programmes for lesbian and gay people.
Action 1.1 - To create an events programme for Pride 2006.

What will this action achieve? Groups of young lesbian and gay people in Manchester will have the opportunity to learn art, craft and interpretation skills and communication, networking and organisational skills.
Action 1.2 - To monitor the exhibition, displays and events programme in terms of lesbian and gay issues.

What will this action achieve? Help to ensure that long-term development of displays and exhibitions reflects issues relevant to lesbian and gay people.
Aim 2. To ensure that monitoring, evaluation and review of this plan takes place on a regular basis.
Action 2.1 - Continue to use the Departmental Equality Group to raise lesbian and gay issues around service delivery and monitor progress on audits and action plans.

Action 2.2 - Investigate possibility of setting up joint lesbian and gay staff group with Libraries.
